We will paddle from Bofinger in the morning for those not interested in racing. Race Registration will start at 11:30 AM at Nansen Wayside. Please note that all racers under the age of 18 will need to have a parent or legal guardian sign a disclaimer of liability in order to participate. The final take-out for both events will be the Northern Forest Heritage Park, where River Day will be underway. Paddling Parade, Great Falls Ballon Festival
On water parade, come be a part of our first paddling parade, decorate your boats and yourself, get creative and join in the festivities as we paddle through Lewiston/Auburn during the Ballon Festival, sure to be a treat!
MEETING TIME for Boat Parade: PLEASE meet at 10:00 AM behind the Edgewater House on Miller Street off of Main Street. Edgewater House is right before Festival Plaza. There will be police assistance to allow access. We will unload boats, and then move vehicles to the parking garage across the Street.
Our parade will begin around 12:30 after the land parade, which is at 11:00 AM. This will allow ample time to get your boats ready and also allow you time to enjoy the land parade and other Balloon Festival festivities.
